The association

The 1901 law association "Historique'Mans" was created in early 2012 following the re-opening of the blockhouse in 2011 by some local history buffs. After a thorough cleaning and restoration of the place, it was converted by the members of the association into a museum dedicated to the history of the Sarthe occupation and the Second World War. Made up of volunteer archivists, guides and enthusiasts of all ages, our team works to share local history.
